Gate OVA and Movie are just nice epilogue stories for fun that dont impact the plot at all. Released 2 years after the anime it follows along. 0 is set for a different worldline while the ova and movie are both set in the steins gate worldline.

Gate is a well-constructed story that is emotionally captivating and when combined with some of the most amazing characters leads to a satisfying and enjoyable watch. The conclusion that the series producers had in mind but never got around to finishing it. I think both are worth watching the OVA actually felt like a final ending for me after episode 24.
